• Elizabeth

  Hello, I am Ms. E, and I'm the onsite owner of The Goddard School in Corinth. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and an Executive master’s degree in business administration, both from The University of Connecticut. After spending two decades in strategic finance and building new products, I cherish the opportunity to serve children and their families. As a mom of three, I understand the importance of having a strong early childhood education that builds on necessary life skills will help to prepare our young children for their future. Every person deserves to have an enjoyable learning environment; access to the best learning tools and qualified teachers to help them excel. The Goddard School of Corinth serves families in Corinth, Denton, Lake Dallas, Argyle, Hickory Creek, Little Elm, and Lewisville. My husband enjoys golfing and I enjoy cooking and yoga. Our life is so full and blessed and there is never a dull moment!

  Hello, I'm Ms. Alisa. I have a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Master of Science in Counseling. I have worked in childcare for eleven years, a school setting for over six years. I am one of the original teachers when The Goddard School of Corinth opened in 2019. My passion is working with children; especially those that doubt themselves. I see children are the purest form of humanity. In my current role as The Education Director, my mission is to establish appropriate curriculum to prepare a child to reach their milestones, while instilling strong social and emotional skills. I am one of ten siblings and a proud mom to many animals. I enjoy any outdoor sports and line dancing. Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to be part of your family.

  Hello Goddard Families! My name is Rachel, and I am the onsite managing director. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Child Development, a Master of Arts in Teaching with certifications in EC-12 ESL, Generalist 4-8, and English 6-12 and a Master's in Educational Leadership EC-12. I am a former teacher and administrator and have worked with students and their families from early childhood through junior college. My philosophy of education is that all children deserve guidance, love and support to be successful in the classroom. I wholeheartedly believe that children do not all learn in the same way, and it is our educational responsibility to foster a learning environment that promotes inclusivity, structure and learning for all students. In my free time, I enjoy traveling, cooking and spending time with family/friends. I have been married to my husband since 2006 and we have two teenagers who are very involved in sports. I look forward to working with the staff and students!

  Hello, my name is Ms. Alma. I am the Lead Teacher in Hopper's, our Junior Pre-Schoolers, ages two and almost three. I have been teaching in childcare for over three years. I love working with children because they are innocent and eager to learn anything. My favorite teaching activities are singing and speaking Spanish during circle time, STEM activities, and dancing. I have one son, Aayden, who goes to The Goddard School. He is my world, and I have been impressed by his learning progress since he started school. Since I have a big family (I am one of nine siblings), our weekends are filled with family times. Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to be part of your family!

  My name is Gaby. In Mexico, I obtained a Bachelor's degree in education, equivalent to the U.S. Bachelor of Arts in Education. Over five years ago, I fell in love with Early Childhood Education. My favorite part about teaching is being able to see my students happy! My goal as a teacher is to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment for all my students, so they can reach their potential in their journey towards developmental milestones.

• Amanda

  Hello, my name is Amanda. I am the lead teacher in the Steppers' room. I have worked in a child-care school for more than eight years, but as a mom to five children, I have had my share of experiences! I have always enjoyed being around children ages 12 to 24 months. They are so impressionable and eager to learn about everything. It never ceases to amaze me how much they absorb at this age. In our class, we read a lot and prep them to be more independent, such as getting up to throw away their lunch plate or giving their cup when they are done. I get sad when my students graduate and leave my classroom, but I know they are ready for new challenges. I have five children and we have a family dog named Bella. Our favorite family activity is playing outdoors in the park and going to the lake. Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to be part of your family!

  I'm Carissa Hodge, I'm honored to be a part of the Goddard School Family. Not only do I work here but I'm also a parent as well. I have three children, two that attend elementary school in Denton, and my youngest goes here at our wonderful Goddard School. I was born and raised in Texas growing up in the Collin County area. I attended Collin College in my early twenties earning a RDA certification in the time I attended college there. I soon after celebrated the arrival of my first two children with my late husband. Having my own children and the stress of finding adequate childcare while I was working lead me to where I am now. I started out 8 years ago as a Infant Teacher and have worked with all age groups over the years. My role here at The Goddard School as Floor Manager is to help every classroom, teacher, and child be set up for success in their time here at Goddard. My favorite part of my job is getting to see tiny humans grow and become bright, strong, independent youth.

  Hello, I am Destiny Mims. I wanted to tell you about myself. I am a senior in college with over 8 years of experience working with children. My major is Early childhood education, I decided to go into the field of teaching when I was in Middle school. I loved all of my teachers and they loved me. They inspired me because knowing that I can shape future adults is amazing! I like to play volleyball and work out in my spare time. My favorite movie is The Notebook. I have two pit bulls Kilo and Stitch. I am a very fun person to get along with and my smile is contagious. I can’t wait to learn more about you and your family! :)

  Hi my name is Jaleesa! I have always loved working with kids. I love coming to work every day, caring for your children and helping them learn because it doesn’t even feel like a job! Although I love spending most of my time at home, I also love to travel, shop, spend time with my family doing anything adventurous!

  Hello, I am Mrs. Julia! I was born and raised in Lake Dallas and I live with my husband and our dog, Donnie! I enjoy all things art and watching movies/tv shows in my free time. I really love working in childcare and believe teaching is the most rewarding and fulfilling profession. I love seeing kids’ genuine curiosity for new things & watching them grow! I am so grateful to be a part of your precious baby’s life and I am so thankful that you share them with us!

  Hi! my name is Ms. Kaylee, and I am the travelers lead teacher! I have been working with kids since 2018 as a children's swim coach. I can't wait to work with your children to be a part of the foundation of their education Journey!

  Hi, I'm Melissa! I've been in the kid business for 21 years. I love working with the younger kids because you see the a-ha moments they have. I'm a big kid at heart and we all have fun and learn together.

  Hi my name is Renee. I like to go by Ren. I have three kids, a son who is seventeen and two girls eleven and five years old. I've been married for twenty years. I have been in childcare for twenty-five years. I worked in public school for two of those years. I have worked with all age groups from two years old to thirteen. I am really looking forward to working with the babies. I have a certificate in interior design from Penn Foster. I am working on my license for massage therapy. I am also finishing my associate in arts at NCTC and will be transferring to Boston University for Education. I have always been really good with children.   Hello, my name is Ms. Sarah. I am the Lead Teacher in the second toddler room, the Runners! I have worked in child-care schools for a few years before taking a management position at Wal-Mart. However, it is my love for working with children that I recently came back as a teacher with The Goddard School in Corinth. I love watching the children grow with the program. The children are so lovable and just eager to learn new things every day. I am so happy to be with them while they are away from mom and dad!   Hello, my name is Ms. Teresa, and I am proud to be a Pre-K teacher! I have been working for 25 years, of which 10 years were in Goddard Schools, where I held various roles. My educational background includes Child Development Associates (CDA), and I have experience crafting various curriculums to implement in to the classroom. I have a true passion for collaborating with our young learners. Helping each child progress in all areas of their development - academic, social, language, and motor skills, is a challenge that I am honored to accept daily. I strive to create a community of learners that nurtures this growth in a positive, fun environment. My main focuses are to apply writing skills, language art, science, and art, and explore the world through learning with our fun themes. I was born in Mexico but raised in the Cypress area. I was married for 26 years, widowed for 16 years, and got engaged a year ago. I have two fantastic children, Aaron and Sarah, who are in Houston.

  Hello parents! I am Ms. Celeste and I have been working with children for about six years now from ages two months to twelve years old. I love working with kids and feel that I am doing something great for them when I am teaching and building relationships with them and the parents. I recently graduated from NCTC with my associates and now am transferring to UNT to do my major in photography and minor in Hispanic history. I can't wait to build more relationships with you and families.

  Hello, my name is Jada. I am currently a student at the University of North Texas studying marketing. I have been in the childcare industry for a couple of years now. One of my favorite things about working with kids is their energy! I look forward to watching your children grow and learn.

  Hi! My name is Jasmine and I have been working in childcare for close to five years. I am a former nanny. I have a CCMA background and I am currently in nursing school with the future goal of becoming a pediatrician.

  Hello, my name is Yanin Lainez. I was born in El Salvador and I had to move to Texas in 2016 at the age of 12. My first language is Spanish and my second is English. I have been working with children of all ages for around two years. I love seeing them grow up with us and teaching them to learn. I also take care of my siblings. I love nature and getting to know new places. I graduated from Little Elm High School and I am planning to continue studying.

  Hello, my name is Heather Clearfield. I was raised in Lewisville, TX and graduated from Lewisville High School in the class of 2018. I have 3 dogs at home named Hunter, Ginger and Lulu. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I have worked with children including a lot of my nieces and nephews throughout their years. I am blessed and thankful to be a mother to my beautiful 4-year-old daughter named Heavenly. I love teaching and enjoy watching children learn new things. I love to provide the nurturing care that all children need. I am very grateful and thankful to be working for Goddard School and all of the precious children here.
